Note that a round joint should generally be inserted into a groove the width of which corresponds to the diameter of the joint.
Width of groove = ø joint
This type of gasket ensures a perfect seal. It helps to reduce soiling of the glass, maintain optimum performance of the fireplace and reduce consumption of firewood or fuel.
What's more, the gaskets prevent the risk of carbon monoxide asphyxiation and prevent smoke from escaping.
We recommend replacing the gasket every year for maximum efficiency.
Tips for installing the round braided gasket :
Remove the gasket and clean the area.
Next, apply the gasket and cut it to size.
Finally, join the ends with glue and leave to dry for 2 hours.

Le joint est de bonne qualité en revanche je retire une étoile pour la colle car elle n\'est pas pratique à l\'utilisation. Pas assez de colle pour l\'application de l\'encadrement du joint....
